Sugar ‘n Spice’s Western Washington Shop Hop 2009 Block

 

I’ve been asked a couple of times to put my block and diretions on my blog so here goes:

Sugar ‘n Spice’s  Square in a Square    

 

 

 

Cutting:

Green Tonal-

A      2          4  7/8” squares ( cut in half once diagonally)

Floral-

B       1          5 ¼”  square (cut in half diagonally twice)

E        1          2 ½” square (the center block)

Purple-

C         2         2  7/8” squares ( cut in half once diagonally)

Pink-

D         1            3 ¼” square (cut in half diagonally twice)

Block is sewn using a ¼” seam. Begin with center E square and add pieces on opposite sides of your square. Continue in same manner.  Happy Sewing!!!
